Daily Tarot: Fool

“If you don’t know where you are going, you might wind up someplace else.” Yogi Berra

You find enchantment with the new–seeds of potential, fresh starts, novel experiences and anything that allows for change. This is a great time to be open-minded in exploring possibilities that are beyond your normal range of experience, whether through travel or taking a leap into the unknown. Being spontaneous and original in your approach may provide surprising solutions to any quandary.  By placing yourself in situations where you become the center of attention, you’re likely to meet new people of influence who can positively impact your future.  This shift in optimism and renewed confidence makes it easy for you to take a risk with the faith that all will end well. The impetus driving this transformation could be a desire for greater freedom or need for adventure.

But a fool thinks himself wise, and you may be impulsively acting on ill-considered decisions should you fail to use common sense. A lack of experience, foresight, or follow-through could trigger a personal setback. Perhaps goals are unrealistic or you’re taken in by naiveté or gullibility. You could be fooling yourself in efforts to impress the wrong people, or through a single-minded focus on personal gain that results in failure to commit to others or their needs. Move forward with caution, but don’t allow restlessness to become recklessness.
