In some cases, there’s an overreaction of defensiveness or negativity that blocks the desired goal of forming a cohesive unit. In other instances, the effort rings false as you’re left to deal with a betrayal by someone you put your faith in or a deceptive cover-up. In the end, it may all come down to a question of loyalty.
