Shooting it Straight – Fire Signs|Jan 13-17, 2020

Here’s a heads-up on the challenge or obstacle you’re likely to face in your love relationship this week (problem) and what’s at the root of it (action). The advice is irreverent, a bit cheeky, unfiltered and admittedly brazen. The message is putting either you or your partner on notice. You know who you are! If you’re offended by the truth or strong language–stop here.

For one of you, something’s getting your goat and causing you to question the wisdom of trying to resurrect a situation you thought was already handled and therefore didn’t expect to come around a second time. In truth, the greater likelihood is that a matter was avoided, and possibly due to either immaturity or irresponsibility. Now the current dialogue is putting the relationship at stake when either of you won’t face facts, make a decision, or come to a clear understanding about how far you’re willing to commit. Perhaps the intensely emotional delivery or misleading communication isn’t helping either. In fact, one of you is starting to make the judgment that you don’t exactly like what you’re seeing in the other person or yourself as a result of circumstances. Someone needs to grow up, get real, stop procrastinating, and get on with making a necessary improvement–externally or internally.

And what is it that either of you may need to know but don’t really want to hear?

Come out swinging.

Are you leaving a burden or moving towards it? Whether one of you is leaving, traveling, moving, or just moving on, someone’s starting to feel the weight of having to make burdensome changes in order to move past a troubling situation. Excuses no longer hold water when you’re forced to revisit key issues that are loaded. While there’s still a bit of rough water ahead, the sooner you get to dry land to deal with responsibilities, the better an opportunity. In fact, a discovery could change the plan and help one of you to realize that you’ve either been making too much of matters by blowing things out of the water or repeatedly wasting too much time and effort toward people or situations that lead you adrift.

And what is it that either of you may need to know but don’t really want to hear?

Don’t get worked up.

It’s my castle and I can cry if I want to–or make you cry instead. One of you may need to get a handle on emotions or the cup will, indeed, runneth over. While there’s a strong desire to put your feelings out there, you can’t seem to shake these feelings out of your system. Either of you may be overwhelmed and refusing to let go of emotions that existed in a complicated relationship now underwater and gasping for air. The inability to maintain the intimacy of relationship means that too many breaches of trust have resulted in a broken heart, feeling powerless, victimized, and prone to depression. Someone will either get tired of ending up alone and give in to the desire to get closer, or decide to be alone with the revelation of being manipulated.

And what is it that either of you may need to know but don’t really want to hear?

I really don’t care. Do u?
