Shooting it Straight – Water Signs|Jan 13-17, 2020

Here’s a heads-up on the challenge or obstacle you’re likely to face in your love relationship this week (problem) and what’s at the root of it (action). The advice is irreverent, a bit cheeky, unfiltered and admittedly brazen. The message is putting either you or your partner on notice. You know who you are! If you’re offended by the truth or strong language–stop here.

There are lots of decisions to consider regarding family, success, agreements and how close or involved you want to be with others, especially where there’s been either idealization or projection. One of you could be super sensitive, playing games, or passive aggressive making it all the more difficult to get to the facts of a matter. As a result, you’re having to rethink your perceptions about situations involving troubled or self-destructive individuals–including self. A decision to get high should mean connecting to higher source–not getting strung out. You may need to listen to your intuition regarding a family secret or get advice from someone who understands what’s needed for the resolution of a disagreement, conflict, or demand.

And what is it that either of you may need to know but don’t really want to hear?

Black and white with mixed results.

Has someone changed their mind about a situation? There’s an agonizing delay that’s allowing one of you to gain some distance in order to look at things more objectively. In the interim, either of you may be frustrated by the inordinate amount of patience or perseverance now required to deal with a crisis. Don’t be deceived as there’s likely to be the revelation that something more is lurking beneath the surface of a situation. In spite of a bitter exchange or the breakdown of communication, events demand action accompanied by a fresh approach. Unless you’re both ready to either make some measure of sacrifice or realize that you need to stop making sacrifices without good reason, you’re likely to fall back on old self-limiting habits or attitudes that lock you in limbo and make you feel trapped.

And what is it that either of you may need to know but don’t really want to hear?

What you waitin’ for?

You’d make a great team if you could pool your gifts of heart and mind together. Instead, one of you may have consciously turned face or you’ve been cut from the equation. A situation highlights sensitivity to being viewed as aloof or detached, or making decisions purely out of emotion, or with no emotion at all. But healing usually involves both nurses and doctors. The treatment for a troubling situation requires an effective blend of the analytical and the emotional. You’ll need to talk, listen, and analyze how to up your game on either side of what’s missing. If you don’t know the answers, trust a professional.

A pleasure doing business.
