Shooting it Straight – Earth Signs|Jan 6-10, 2020

Here’s a heads-up on the challenge or obstacle you’re likely to face in your love relationship this week (problem) and what’s at the root of it (action). The advice is irreverent, a bit cheeky, unfiltered and admittedly brazen. The message is putting either you or your partner on notice. You know who you are! If you’re offended by the truth or strong language–stop here.

One of you is going to have to let go and surrender to a circumstance, rather than continue to make excuses. This may not be the best time for digging in your heals if it blocks opportunity. Issues surrounding business, property, large sums of money, sex, or survival are at stake. You’re confusing stagnation for safety and resistance might end up costing big time. In spite of the best attempts at maintaining the status quo, profound changes are in the works because one of you feels a situation is too confining or uncertain. Trying to hold on to something that is clearly dying won’t do you any good. You need a breakthrough for a complete turnaround in a situation so that you can either revitalize it or move on.

And what is it that either of you may need to know but don’t really want to hear?

Death grip.

Is one of you unaware of a recent decision or just not listening? Either of you could be divided on making a major choice as you review the relationship. Perhaps a dilemma has put your connection under a strain, especially if one of you is overly-influenced to live up to certain demands or feels exploited. But the difference of opinion needn’t be a threat to the union as long as you’re both willing to speak up about emotions that have long been repressed. There’s either a fork in the road or someone’s tongue, and charm alone won’t work unless you’re dealing with a snake. Instead, you’ll need to take responsibility to heal a situation by speaking openly to repair or clarify matters so that each of you will have peace of mind.

And what is it that either of you may need to know but don’t really want to hear?

Spoiled for choice…

You can still save a situation–or can you? Before that happens though, you may lose hope, money, or your mojo as you get caught up in a mire of moodiness and expected disappointments. One of you feels bitter, resentful, or mistreated because of past circumstances that may tie to an old friend, lost love, ex, or important male figure. It’s caused by a penchant for (re)connecting to liars, opportunists, players, cons, screw-ups, and risky habits, or foolishness that sets the stage for discontent. Eventually, you’ll recognize something will go much smoother if you stop squandering time, energy, money, or emotions to handle matters yourself, or at least partner with someone more capable.

And what is it that either of you may need to know but don’t really want to hear?

Win(ners) or lose(rs).
