Here’s a heads-up on the challenge or obstacle you’re likely to face in your love relationship this week (problem) and what’s at the root of it (action). The advice is irreverent, a bit cheeky, unfiltered and admittedly brazen. The message is putting either you or your partner on notice. You know who you are! If you’re offended by the truth or strong language–stop here.

Who am I? Until you figure that out, ego battles lock you into a struggle with yourself or a partner. Some of the struggle may have to do with the need to “grow up” and stop making things way more difficult than necessary. Either of you may be bringing a situation back to life that should have been resolved a long time ago. You can barricade yourself off, climb up high, or get the hell out of town, but a zombie apocalypse is headed your way. The problem is passive aggressive behavior where one of you is looking to pick a fight about something that has nothing at all to do with what’s really at the core of a situation. Until you get to the root, you’ll deal with a steady flow of non-stop problems until eventually one of you burns out. The only way to judge whether you’re actually solving the problem or adding to it, is to step back from emotions and focus on the facts. That means either bringing an end to the situation or stepping up to the plate to do more and be more. You can solve this problem, but it will take a formidable effort on your part.
And what is it that either of you may need to know but don’t really want to hear?
Do what you have to.
Scorpio

Do you feel like waiting? And waiting? “Slowly, surely, I walk away from that old desperate and tainted love…thought it was good, thought it was real, thought it was, but it wasn’t love.” If you’re a Jill Scott fan, you may recognize those lyrics. Love is not playing out like the sweet song you thought it would, and one of you is having second thoughts about whether the music should play to the end. Instead, there’s a choice to concentrate on the missing factor, the old hurts, or the disappointment that’s causing you to feel like the relationship is (was) a waste of time and effort. It’s difficult to grow anything when nobody’s nurturing the seed and giving it water. So, how does your garden grow? Certainly not by sitting around and letting the weeds take over. On the other hand, maybe the music never started because the fear of rejection was so great, it caused hesitation about making that first move. Are you giving up too soon? It took seventeen years for Tennyson to summarize the sentiment, “It’s better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.” Slowly, surely…
And what is it that either of you may need to know but don’t really want to hear?
Better late than never.
Pisces

Feel like you want to get away from it all to make a fresh start? You’ll need to come up with a strategy–and a good one at that. Being discreet and keeping something under wraps could be vital to the plan. In the interim, how ’bout you start with recognizing what the limits or boundaries are in a situation? Perhaps you need to learn to differentiate between the worthwhile and the worthless. That way, you’ll be resolute in not allowing others to take advantage of you. If you’re making choices to seek personal validation, you’ve already missed the point. The point is to stop wasting time with people or situations that are a waste of time. It puts you at risk of being exploited emotionally, physically and materially, especially if there’s a growing dislike between you. In fact, someone’s character is currently being scrutinized because they’ve decided to go the devious route in meeting an objective. Don’t believe the hype (yours or theirs). Do believe in possibilities and second chances. Get clever–you may need to go undercover to find the right lover.
And what is it that either of you may need to know but don’t really want to hear?
Hiding in plain sight.
