Daily Love & Life Advice – Your Guide to Navigating Relationships

Are you seeing the true merit of your worth or merely the reflection of egocentric imaginings? Perhaps you’ve come to identify your value with your bank account or the material assets you’ve acquired, even above important relationships.

The mythological figure, Narcissus, is a potent symbol of selfishness. The inability to see beyond himself means he’s unable to share life and experiences with others. Ultimately, his fear and greed drive him to lose the very thing he’s trying to keep.

Today, it’s time to get real, and the real question is: what are you trying to keep, and what is it costing you? The answer lies in the areas of life where you’ve either been too stingy or too free with resources of any kind—time, money, emotions.

For some, you’re recognizing the expense of taking on other people’s problems or employment setbacks that are triggering a wake-up call, or a medical issue is looming. For you, it may be time to cautiously explore possibilities that offer greater potential. On the other hand, maybe you can’t clearly see matters objectively given the level of self-interest. At some point, you may understand that part of the burden is your approach of trying too hard to push a personal agenda. A Capricorn (sun, moon, or rising sign) could be instrumental in your appraisal.
