Daily Love & Life Advice – Your Guide to Navigating Relationships

Perhaps you’re finding it difficult to decide what to do because you haven’t yet dealt with the ghosts of the past. However, you’ve reached the end of a process that requires you to reflect, reconsider, or regroup about the next steps. This might mean the welcome break of a vacation, quiet time for yourself, or the space to rest and recuperate, in which case, a lack of activity is exactly what you need for relief or to prepare for the next course of action.
The key is to avoid extremes in any direction, especially in matters that could impact your sense of security and well-being. This can prove to be a challenge if you’ve been “ghosted” by others while waiting for the truth, an apology, or an explanation (or vice versa). With so much “stuff” hanging around, the response might be to deal in denial—either to act as if the issue doesn’t exist or delude yourself into thinking you can save or resurrect what’s already dead. While it’s true that you may not have as many available options as you’d like, a lack of clear communication or the failure to confront what’s clearly the elephant in the room will only serve to put you further at risk.
