Underlying Theme for All the Signs: There is wisdom in not attaching to outcome. However, if that detachment manifests as shutting your heart down because you no longer have expectation as a result of being hurt, you’re missing the wisdom gleaned from life experience. Perhaps your response to wounding has been to focus solely on the material or to numb the pain through excess or addictive behaviors. The choice to keep your heart protected robs you of experiencing the most intimate, delicious, profound, life-enhancing, sacred relationship. When that heart bursts open and the sadness, fear, rejection, and brokenness comes flooding out, you reach the other side where the light can enter gifting you with warmth, humility, selflessness and compassion.
