Your intuition is telling you that you’re carrying the load of too many responsibilities or that someone you’re dealing with is way too intense. In the former, you’re acting out the role of workaholic, missionary, fanatic, or martyr with probably very little to show for your efforts. In the latter, valid or not, a relationship may feel burdensome, especially if you’re perpetually meeting with resistance. An inner voice should tell you whether a goal or alliance is worthy of the energy you’re expending. If not careful, the repressed emotion and tension are likely to build to breaking point. Perhaps if you learn to trust others to pick up the slack, you can let go of some self-imposed limitations.
