2022 Lovescope|Pisces

Dear Pisces, you held fast for a very long time to a passionate dream of what love or a relationship would look like. But rarely does reality live up to the fantasy and you could still be in mourning from the disappointment. The response may be to give in to self-defeating habits or get (re)involved with people who have a history (or potential) of letting you down. If you’re involved in an unhappy relationship, it’s time to consider how to improve the situation or why you haven’t yet severed those ties.

Perhaps part of your pain stems from memories of when you were younger, felt more beautiful, or life held more promise. But being happy with who you are now allows you to have more confidence about the future. Instead, you may be focused on unhealthy comparisons and the brokenness of spirit caused through loss and regret. This year, don’t rush yourself through the process of what you need to feel in acknowledging your grief, but don’t linger too long there either. Continually expecting the worst is a powerful magnet for attracting it. Get on with the emotional housecleaning necessary for change by releasing blame, guilt, and retaliation because dwelling on old wounds and grievances can make you ill physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. When you forgive others, you can forgive yourself.

Here in the present, which is really all you have, is a lot of loving support and much growth acquired from the painful experiences of the past. You have a right to happiness and prosperity. However, the onus is on you to have faith in yourself to fulfill this expectation. Oddly enough, the more you do for you, the more attractive you become. That’s not to say you should close off to the prospect of love. If you’re single and meet someone new, don’t question the sincerity or assume that history will repeat itself. In fact, don’t compare a new partner to an old one who hurt you. If you’re still alone, the real truth may be that you’re deathly afraid of getting involved again.
