Dear Capricorn, why so much despair? You might have been clawing at the walls to find answers to a troubling relationship, but doing so has left a gaping hole. There’s a sense of hopelessness, anxiety, or loneliness where love is concerned. Excessive worry may be the result of guilt, an injustice, or regret over words and actions whether given or received. Your doom and gloom outlook can be attributed to feelings of powerlessness, health issues, worry over whether a partner is faithful or if you’ll find one, financial concerns, or things that may/may not be true. Real or not, the constant self-criticism and obsessive replay of events or potential worst case scenarios is wreaking havoc on your health and well-being. Perhaps in reality you’ve blown matters way out of proportion, but if you’re not careful, the turmoil you’re experiencing on the inside will eventually manifest as external events that become a self-fulfilling prophecy.
The good news is that you’ve received a wake up call to face certain facts, one of which is that you have more options than you’ve been willing to consider. Aside from the need to face your own demons directly, trying to get who or what you want at any cost may come with a very high price tag.
If you’re single, don’t close off to opportunities just because of bad relationships you’ve had in the past. This year challenges you to work on moving past the fear that you’ll always be alone or of meeting new people and having new experiences. If coupled, your recovery might include letting a partner “do them.” Sometimes walking away, if only temporary, is essential to your welfare and/or the relationship.
