Daily Love Advice – Your Guide to Navigating Relationships
One of you is rifling through baggage. This may be as you sort out the difficulty of travel plans while navigating the challenging conditions we’re currently living under. However, it’s more likely that the baggage you’re shuffling is the emotional debris of relationship patterns attached to the past. In relationships with a shared history, there could be an incentive to seek harmony with a partner and/or make peace to heal old wounds and resentments. But if the desire is for a committed relationship, you may have to rock the boat or chart a different course. This isn’t the time to take matters at face value, but rather to dig deeper to examine the intention behind your connection and whether someone’s sailing under false colors. You should be asking the difficult questions that determine the level of commitment and whether you do, indeed, share common goals, values, and interests. If this is a new love interest, perhaps you need to get to know each other better before getting too emotionally invested. In either case, observe, listen, and carefully consider what you’re being told. If the answers aren’t satisfactory, perhaps this isn’t where you should drop anchor.
