Shooting it Straight – Earth Signs|Jan 20-25, 2020

Here’s a heads-up on the challenge or obstacle you’re likely to face in your love relationship this week (problem) and what’s at the root of it (action). The advice is irreverent, a bit cheeky, unfiltered and admittedly brazen. The message is putting either you or your partner on notice. You know who you are! If you’re offended by the truth or strong language–stop here.

There’s an offer on the table but do you really want to get involved? It certainly looks desirable, but intuition is telling you that everything is not out in the open and that perhaps a few changes need to be made. Until all the facts are known, one of you may choose to keep things strictly platonic. That’s important because if you’re not careful, you could easily succumb to repressed desires and attract a little intrigue or an opportunity that comes with too many conditions. For one of you, there’s a fear of giving over to up and down emotions you’re not prepared to deal with or giving in to a situation that’s not right for you. While you might like to change the rules, you’ll have to be patient and allow a situation to unfold naturally. The best time to act is after you’ve resolved true motives and intentions–yours and theirs.

And what is it that either of you may need to know but don’t really want to hear?

If the truth were known.

Perhaps you keep going back and forth about how you really feel. Old patterns stemming from the inability for self-control are causing one of you to question the union. As a result, you may be seeing each other with different eyes and questioning whether you’ve made a misjudgment regarding compatibility. It’s time to talk about your difficulties directly, especially if one of you feels the other has gone too far or there’s a demand for too many compromises just to keep the relationship going. Divine intervention has stepped in to offer a breakthrough to help you heal and address some bad habits that are affecting the relationship or to accept that the relationship IS the bad habit.

And what is it that either of you may need to know but don’t really want to hear?

Pardon me.

“Looks like nothin’s gonna change. Everything seems to stay the same.” So sang Otis Redding in the classic tune about wasting time. One of you is waiting for the tide to turn in a situation where desire is tied to money, travel, or the future. But the only constant is change. While you may feel at the mercy of fate, personal karma actually put the skids on a matter due to words spoken or action taken. Now one of you is having to take a second look at sacrifice or deception to determine whether a change in perspective is needed regarding romance or a matter you’ve romanticized. A time out caused by a difficulty that seemingly had no solution could very well be a blessing in disguise. Taking the dare to do things differently the next time around could offer a turnaround with a big payout.

And what is it that either of you may need to know but don’t really want to hear?

Role reversal.
