There’s the recognition of the need for effort in order to resurrect a partnership that may be in jeopardy of dying. Something needs to change in order to move on from an old situation. Unfortunately, either of you could have difficulty when the dialogue devolves into high-horse arrogance or nit-picking criticism centered around issues that repeatedly resurface over and over time and again. One of you is seeking protection in a circumstance with no guarantees and the fear of failure is costing you dearly. Perhaps there’s disappointment because one of you always has money on the mind as well as the tabulations of what’s already been invested. Someone’s disgruntled with greed, control, or feeling blocked in a situation where they were hoping for greater security emotionally or financially. If you want to make your own decisions, the first one should be to examine what’s motivating you to hold on to a burdensome situation that keeps you stuck and ill at ease. Happiness won’t be found in the past–been there, done that.

It’s those thoughts that may be the source of a false accusation or the trigger for a bit of jealousy or hurt feelings. There’s an important decision to be made that could feel next to impossible. However, if you can keep a sense of humor, a breakthrough in what’s expected will arrive that can help you repair or gain clarity about a situation.
