Shooting it Straight – Water Signs|Dec 9-13, 2019

Here’s a heads-up on the challenge or obstacle you’re likely to face in your love relationship this week (problem) and what’s at the root of it (action). The advice is irreverent, a bit cheeky, unfiltered and admittedly brazen. The message is putting either you or your partner on notice. You know who you are! If you’re offended by the truth or strong language–stop here.

I’m trying to figure out why you make me so mad. It’s probably because one of you is playing games. There’s been some misleading communication that has exaggerated the intent of romantic involvement. Perhaps one of you was merely focused on getting the goods without paying for them. The result could be sexual frustration or feeling exploited by a maneuver. Either of you are now looking at the reality of some personality flaws that put the relationship in the red zone. Depending on your communication, you’ll either move toward a mutual goal or your relationship will run its course. Delays or change could make either of you angry or cost you big money. But one of you is a little too invested in self–open up to more love and less ambition. Leave work at the office and take care of business at home.

And what is it that either of you may need to know but don’t really want to hear?

Baby, I’m booming.

Either it’s the gift that keeps on giving or you’re holding tight cause you just don’t have enough. You may be patiently waiting to build a foundation built on nostalgia for the past. One of you could be dealing with a lot of responsibilities or juggling funds, partners or opportunities. Unfortunately, situations could feel like an endless loop of emotional ups and downs due to changes in circumstance or environment. There’s a desire to either protect your heart or your assets while maintaining stability and equilibrium during the shift and adjustment. But even when you’re stable, you may not feel secure, especially if the material comes first. This could cause one of you to close off to love or fearfully hold on to a situation that doesn’t offer any emotional return for your efforts. Someone’s being asked to give up habits, people, or things that they’ve outgrown.

And what is it that either of you may need to know but don’t really want to hear?

Split the difference.

There’s an important opportunity, but is there commitment? Either of you may be looking at the cost of following expectations–or not. Perhaps there’s a price to pay for having to fall in line with the moral majority. One of you will have to decide on which side you stand and whether convention suits you. Going against the grain can be exciting but it also comes with challenges. You’d be wise to carefully consider who you get involved with and what kind of outcome you desire. Costly decisions that impact emotional and financial security could create setbacks that make you vulnerable before you even realize it, especially if you’re motivated by attraction or annoyance. This week, check the price twice.

And what is it that either of you may need to know but don’t really want to hear?

Pray or pay.
