If one of you has the authority and the other has the know how, why not join forces and combine the two? Your intuition may be telling you something, but you’re paying it no mind. Something’s going on behind the scenes, and one of you is the inside trader (hopefully, not traitor) and knows precisely how to cut through the confusion, but may be keeping it secret. But if you’re not fully engaged in the conversation, how can you expect them to be more involved? Maybe nobody’s getting the message because communication is riddled with habitual patterning from childhood, past experiences, or memories that remain unresolved and unaddressed. How convenient that not listening gives one of you the leeway to make up rules for this relationship that would suit you better. On the other hand, someone may have turned away in response to the other person trying to control their situation, life, perception, etc. There’s a re-think required about an opportunity and the relevancy of what you “think” you know, believe, or feel versus what’s a convoluted, old notion you need to turn your back on.

Whether you find yourself drawn into conflict or galloping past, all depends on whether you’ve learned the lesson of taking decisive action to remove yourself from pointless and destructive habits or people.
