Shooting it Straight – Water Signs|Sept 30 – Oct 4

Here’s a heads-up on the challenge or obstacle you’re likely to face in your love relationship this week (problem) and what’s at the root of it (action). The advice is irreverent, a bit cheeky, unfiltered and admittedly brazen. The message is putting either you or your partner on notice. You know who you are! If you’re offended by the truth or strong language–stop here.

Irritated because you can’t sort through all the smoke and mirrors of a situation? Perhaps it’s because a third party is interjecting and posing a threat–or is that your imagination running amok? It’s hard to tell what’s real versus what’s merely an illusion when one of you chooses to poof and disappear. As a result, someone may be overwhelmed, grief-stricken, or lashing out. Either of you may be stressed by decisions that appear almost impossible to make while hoping for some type of settlement–legally, emotionally, or otherwise. Perhaps rejection has ended with a breakdown in communication and only frustrated fantasies to show for the effort. Events suggest that one of you has oversold on what you can actually deliver; a misstep caused by a miscalculation. You’re either here, there, or nowhere. It’s time to get real about where you want to direct your energy.

And what is it that either of you may need to know but don’t really want to hear?

Without substance.

Is one of you pouring out your soul and baring it all for the world to see? Good. It means you can stop wasting time and finally come clean to heal or resolve a situation that needs to reach conclusion. Fear of change, insecurities, or a lack of commitment has kept either of you from closing out some unfinished business. If you’re looking for the door to a second chance; truth, tolerance, and compassion are the keys. Unfortunately, one of you doesn’t recognize appropriate boundaries or limitations and the poor judgment of trying to force a situation. There’s difficulty breaking out of the rut of a comfortable viewpoint in the face of demands to expand beyond opinions other than your own. You might even feel vulnerable with the idea of compromise. Perhaps a change of attitude means that one of you will pour water on the enthusiasm to start again. Will that refresh the connection or drown any possibility?

And what is it that either of you may need to know but don’t really want to hear?

It might be your world, but that doesn’t mean they’ll be living in it.

Had enough? Someone’s reached saturation point and may be focused on materializing their own desires instead of waiting on liars that have a propensity for not producing beyond a bag of tricks. With mojo and mastery, you’re capable of focusing your energy toward new opportunities. The danger is in becoming the opportunist whose only interest is numero uno. Either of you may consistently disregard the rights, needs, or opinions of the partner. Of course, precipitating events where one of you had the upper hand may have caused the shift from we to me. Perhaps there’s suspicion of plausible lies or far-reaching deception. Your intuition is prompting you to contemplate a new turn of events in a situation that at first looked like magic, but now appears to be a mistake. If one of you thinks you can simply wave a wand and make the problems just poof and go away, then your mind has disappeared. Expect carpet burns if you get taken for the ride.

And what is it that either of you may need to know but don’t really want to hear?

What’s the magic word?
