If you’re able to detach from the emotional (uh, you’re a Cancer), this pause may prove extremely productive in gaining self-awareness and seeing a partner in a different light, especially if either of you are taking notice of ongoing inconsistencies. There’s a tendency to push the trigger button to prove how much each of you knows and who’s got the better advice. But these win-lose propositions will eventually lead to emotional isolation or loneliness, particularly when all that “good information” doesn’t lead to any constructive action. You’ll either have to recognize the “holy truth” when you see it or speak it.
