Either way, a situation is on shaky ground causing you to wonder about the future and prompting you to seek answers. In fact, you could be sorting through rumors, conspiracy theories, or secret revelations that tie to some form of betrayal. The bigger truth to uncover is why you’ve formed this alliance in the first place. Is is style over substance? Perhaps there’s been too much obsession about fringe benefits–financially or sexually. Now you’re having to get real about whether this is a real opportunity, especially if excess of any kind is taking its toll on your connection. You may be striking out or on the defensive about anything offered at this point. Is it solid or is someone selling out? Big plans offer more security if you take it one step at a time right now. Don’t put all of your eggs in one basket.

The real concern for the future means it’s time to talk futures–stocks, taxes, savings, inheritance. You and your partner may have to restructure the budget because of waste, legal issues or financial risks that turned out to be less than profitable. The ties that bind may experience stress under the tension of disapproval, fights over money, or breaking with tradition, especially if part of the problem has been extreme self-indulgence or arrogance. If ego takes over, one of you may get exactly what’s needed–just desserts. If this situation involves infidelity, the player could get played. You might be visiting old haunts or haunted by old issues. Whatever you’re dealing with, the past and the future are currently intertwined. With all these heavy demands you may decide to close shop for a while. Don’t forget your old friends–while you may close a few chapters, some of your history’s worth preserving.
