“Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.” Marilyn Monroe
You may find yourself looking backward rather than to the future. Perhaps you’ve suffered through some form of loss, disappointment or regret over past wrongs that block you from seeing the salvageable. Situations cause you to scrutinize your own judgment as well as the sincerity of those around you. In fact, relationships seem to be more of a liability than anything else. However, the ability to get life back on track is linked directly to your perception or attitude. In some cases, you may need to let go of situations or relationships that keep you tied to unhappy memories. This may be related to a loveless marriage, the break-up of a relationship, or dealing with family problems. Conversely, it could be that you are having to come to terms with the ending of a valued connection, not receiving the support you feel you deserve, or a betrayal in love. Regardless, by holding on to old grievances, you negatively impact your physical, mental and emotional health which may lead to illness. At issue could be unrealistic expectations about what others owe you or your own sense of personal indebtedness.
Unfortunately, you may be manifesting self-fulfilling prophecies through exaggerated pessimism. It is important to be mindful, stay positive, and work toward creating fulfilling experiences that bring joy. Once you decide to take on the responsibility of making yourself happy, situations that once felt blocked will tend to open. As a result of growing optimism, your pain ends allowing recovery to encourage something better through the rekindling of love, renewing of ties, or starting a brand new relationship. Hard-won wisdom reminds you to use greater discernment in your choices–avoid people, situations or habits that offer a consistent history of letdowns.
