Daily Tarot: Three of Wands

“Do your own thing on your own terms and get what you came here for.” Oliver James

Something about the day may provide confirmation for you that you are on the right path. The focus is on ideas crystallizing and taking form in anticipation of imminent success. Getting to the goal line means concentrating on the current business at hand and tackling the responsibilities that provide the stepping-stones toward the future as there is still a great deal of work to be done. Perhaps you are starting or expanding a business or involved in important discussions or negotiations. You may be entering the first stages of completion with regard to an undertaking or enterprise. Your self-expression, whether through the exchange, promotion or sale of ideas and the production of work or goods, is central to the theme. The influence allows for perfect timing where you find yourself in the right place at the right time and saying the right words. You easily adapt to any last-minute change in plans or agenda. In fact, mental flexibility will have a strong impact on your responses to the activity in your environment.

However, if your goals were unrealistic to begin with, you may find an objective difficult to achieve or you may be too proud to accept the help that you need.  You may change your mind about prospects or lose direction because a promising venture fails to deliver as expected. This may be caused by a lack of cooperation or alliances that undermine your efforts. Cancellations, someone usurping your power, changing the story-line or withholding information may leave you holding the bag or force you to have to rely on self. Likewise, this is not a day for snake oil sales or self-aggrandizement. Know your capabilities as well as limitations, otherwise, your shortcomings will become glaringly obvious.
