Daily Tarot: Seven of Cups

“If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with success in common hours.”  Henry David Thoreau

In the pre-digital world of technology, the audio cassette tape company, Memorex touted the clarity of sound in their product via a 1972 commercial slogan, “Is it live, or is it Memorex?” The point of which, of course, was to point out the inability to discern between a live performance and one that was recorded with their tapes. Today’s energy will test your ability to decipher fantasy from reality. Positively, you may be full of creative ideas that allow you to visualize a project from start to finish. You clearly see the items on your agenda in terms of priority and proactively deal with first things first. As a result, you can successfully transform a situation that initially appeared to be going downhill.

For many, however, there is confusion or overwhelm due to too many options. You may be struggling to see things clearly because of emotions that dominate the rational mind. Because of a lack of focus, you may while away time through fantasy and daydreaming. Perhaps you feel “under the weather” and find it difficult to even muster the energy to tackle your responsibilities. You may end up having to apologize for not delivering on a promise or make an excuse for taking an out. Worse still, you may decide to escape in more negative ways–excessive sleep, drugs, alcohol. In other cases, complications may be caused by questionable choices, being unorganized or directing energy in too many directions. You may create the illusion of having it all together when, in fact, your declarations bears no semblance to the reality of your circumstances.

Have a vision and make it happen. Handling things realistically on the front end will leave you with time on your hands to spare.
