Daily Tarot: Two of Swords

“What is fear after all? It is indecision. You seek some way to resist, escape. There is none.”  Anne Rice

There’s a feud taking place–but mostly in your head. Irrational fears and senseless worries crop up without warning. The question is are you at war with others or with self? Perhaps you are facing a dilemma that appears to have no immediate resolution. For now, the first choice is to take no action at all. Your game plan may be to remain blind to a truth or your emotions in the false hope that a problem will go away or solve itself.  On the other hand, you may be strategically waiting to make your next move, waiting for more information, or waiting for an outcome. But time may or may not be on your side. Should you find yourself in a stalemate where movement is suspended, you could become impatient, frustrated and unreasonable due to the uncertainty of your circumstances. As a result, you may respond to these blockages by losing control and impulsively doing or saying the very thing that sabotages your desired goal. Worse still, you may resort to a “divide and conquer” strategy where you pit others against themselves so that you can make some personal gain.
