“Any change, even a change for the better, is always accompanied by drawbacks and discomforts.” Arnold Bennett
The Six of Swords is a harbinger of travel, whether physically or metaphorically and this is likely to mean contact with those at a distance (welcome or not). Perhaps an unexpected trip is in the works or plans to travel to a destination you’ve been to before, possibly over water or abroad. You want to get to the “other side” of a situation and if literal travel is not in your cards, you may be revisiting an issue and feeling as if you are starting from square one. Either way, your desire is to release tension and move away from any stress or troubling situations, including toxic attachment to others. Whatever waters you’re navigating will demand patience, but will also help you gain greater self-awareness. Beneficial change arrives through the resolve to liberate yourself from time-wasting habits and people on ego trips.
If you haven’t yet figured out who and what is worth your time, you may be forced to deal with matters you thought were long resolved. Perhaps you waited a little too long to chart your course. A miscalculation means plans are grounded due to someone who lets you down–and you’ve been here before. Will you travel first class or coach? Traveling light could mean severing ties with those who limit your progress.
