Daily Love & Life Advice – Your Guide to Navigating Relationships

A high level of irritation, where the inclination is to let loose in the worst possible way, could provoke a time-out. Maybe you or others haven’t been taking matters as seriously as you should and have allowed third parties to interfere or pose a threat to your plans. This might pertain to a legal matter, an important agreement, or a significant alliance. A desire to please all has prompted an empty promise, an unexpected cancellation, and a hopeless attempt to meet obligations that can’t possibly be successfully completed.
As a result, the progress you were hoping for in negotiations seems to have stalled, calling for a re-evaluation. Even if you’ve reached a temporary compromise, you’re still frustrated because, on some level, you’re aware that nothing will ever really change.
For some, the choice may be to find entertainment or a distraction to release the pent up tension or relieve the loneliness, and you might actually need some down time to sort through a situation. Perhaps your coping mechanism to deal with the heartbreak of a bitter secret or wounding is to make light of it, but the joking belies some deep doubts you have about rejection, betrayal, or separation. Something has been going on that you were unaware of or unwilling to acknowledge, and triggers the realization that a disappointment or loss is a direct result of missing the mark on your estimation of a person, a situation, or even yourself.
However, the reality check might actually bring relief and a more rational outlook about misappropriating your time, talent, or emotions. Luck could still arrive, and with it, an alternate course of action that brings enjoyment and the cause to celebrate a settlement.
