Your endeavor is also likely to involve mastery of special knowledge—your own or that of persons uniquely qualified to offer their expertise.
What you hope to accomplish requires some trial-and-error learning to get it right, but if you’re a problem solver capable of making decisions, you know how to effectively use the tools at your disposal.
On the other hand, if you feel disoriented and on the path to nowhere, it may be that you’re not seeing matters for what they really are; a clear view is blocked by either too much self-interest or a reluctance to take a chance. For some, it’s the obstructive or ineffectual efforts of others—screw-ups, liars, or manipulators—that signal it’s time to move on from a situation.
