The relationship planet Venus enters the social sign of Gemini at the beginning of July and closes the month under the protective domain of Cancer. Both Saturn and Neptune turn retrograde in Aries, with Mercury also in retrograde in the sign of Leo. The emphasis is on the element of fire and a reevaluation of goals, desires, and ambitions to determine what’s due to undergo change. The sun will also be welcomed home to Leo, highlighting recognition, creative success, children, and love affairs.
However, the most significant event of the month is Uranus’ entrance into the sign of Gemini, where it has not been since its last visit from 1941-1949. Notably, the last two times Uranus was in Gemini coincided with war. If our collective consciousness has evolved, perhaps this transit will, instead, further progress and innovation in matters ruled by Gemini—transportation, education, communication, neighborhoods, and the dissemination of information.
