Underlying Theme for All the Signs: This week brings the closure of a cycle and an assessment of the past. Perhaps you’re considering the influence of your heritage, ancestry or culture and its bearing on the present. A closer look could be stimulated by involvement with persons who are vastly different or your personal history might inspire travel. Your personality is a mixture of karmic tendencies and certain inherited characteristics received from family. Some of this was the foundation for talents, gifts and abilities you possess, but some parts may be limiting your growth and maturity.

These could be negative behaviors that include being pushy, harsh, opinionated, self-sabotaging, controlling, manipulative, domineering, wanting things your way, playing a victim, or using guilt as a way to punish. It can be difficult to recognize this in yourself, especially if you’ve tried to be as different from your parents as possible, but to evolve you must confront the darker aspects of self.

Conditions create the opportunity for second chances and fresh starts, but only if you can reconcile differences and practice the art of forgiveness. If so, it’s a good time to put your resolve toward better habits. If. not, you’ll remain in the rut that keeps motivating you to do the “right thing” but for all the wrong reasons.
