The Moon is in quicksilver mode as she makes her way through the sign of Aquarius inciting the quest for knowledge that can prove beneficial to humanity, but may be acquired at the cost of personal relationship or intimacy. Although friendly and communicative in an intellectual way, you can be emotionally detached and aloof.

However, friends and acquaintances play a role in the development of ideals and there may be much traveling or coming and going because of these associations, as well as organizational endeavors and intellectual and scientific pursuits. Perhaps you’re in negotiations or contract discussions or concentrating on self-study or putting into practice learned concepts acquired through projects that involve reading, writing or studying. Your mental processes are in creative flux and exchanges with others can contribute to refining your ideas. Despite the tendency to be dogmatic in discussions, goals will change when what once seemed feasible may no longer seem realistic. The events that unfold are likely to include Aquarius persons (sun, moon, or rising sign) as well as those with significant Pisces placements.

Any desire for power and personal advancement might strongly rely on organizing talent and a brilliant intuitive mind capable of solving problems by tapping into a superconscious level of intelligence. Aside from Uranus in fall, with Venus at the lead, not a single planet is in detriment. As a result of that supporting energy, you may experience power and transformation as either a leader or participant in a group setting. However, it’s the advancement that comes through your own efforts and abilities that will create self-made opportunities that offer personal satisfaction. Any major undertakings will involve a personal commitment to a project, cause, idea or belief, and with or without support, you’ll strive to achieve a goal related to one of these areas. In fact, you may be willing to act against the advice or conventions of family or community to do so. You may even attack “the system” if you hold views which are contrary to the mainstream or live a life that places you under constant challenge from others.

This is a cycle of great activity where you work very hard to further your own interests and to showcase your abilities, although it’s not the best time for starting any new projects as circumstances will compel you to complete unfinished business. The primary focus is on your own needs, interests, ideas and opinions and strong self-reliance directs thinking and independent decision-making without feedback or input from others. But insularity can indicate a lack of objectivity that makes it difficult for you to compromise or recognize the viewpoints of others. In truth, you may choose to believe what you want regardless of what others tell you, and may be unyielding and insistent without reviewing necessary information. At some point, you’ll be asked to defend your position if it conflicts with those of others. Consequently, this can be a period of great conviction or extreme recklessness.

Alternatively, discrepancies between what you’re told and what you know can cause anxiety. Inconsistencies force you to become aware of subtle messages and to trust your own instincts regarding the motives and intentions of others. Power struggles can also arise due to expectations equated with loyalty. The emphasis may be on one friend in particular, but you should avoid any influence whose aim is to redirect you toward a path you don’t want or does not serve your best interest.

On the other hand, you may working to discover your personal limits by dealing with challenging situations where you can test yourself against the odds. This can manifest as a physically confident person, through acts of bravery, or the physical talent of those with skills in sport or dance. It can also represent the gifted inventor or individual associated with creating new knowledge, and/or putting such knowledge into practical use. This might include spiritual or prophetic insights or some form of secret knowledge. The emphasis is on self-actualization and developing strengths that were previously unrealized.

There is a marked urgency in your approach to life that calls on the coping skills necessary to deal with misfortune as indicated by the axis of self at critical degree. Situations may inspire a return to traditional values due to a greater need for stability. The response may be related to the end of a period of guilt-ridden exile—self imposed or otherwise, or because of a lack of fulfillment or a change in employment. For a few at the mercy of more ominous circumstances, it links to a tragic death. You’ll need to find positive outlets that allow you to escape the seriousness, especially where there may be no answers to the complicated situations that arise.

But with much of the planetary influence of a stellium locked in an interception, delays and blockages will tend to hinder progress. The habit is to procrastinate in taking action, especially if you’d rather avoid confrontation. Nevertheless, anger is a real issue and you may feel resentful about having to meet the needs or demands of others. Your tendency could be to resort to unusual tactics for self-defense or revenge. As a result of internalized energy, the emotional pressure will eventually erupt which can provoke actions that are totally inappropriate. Mars sits at the Aries Point and will surely bring persons unknown into the sphere or make affairs public.

The need is to direct anger and effort at the appropriate target or goal and to use a more constructive use of the energy—either physically or intellectually. You may have highly specific goals and ambitions, but if you allow power struggles or difficulties to block you, the possibility exists that you won’t complete tasks because everything seems too complicated. Instead, you may direct your energy to a short-sighted goal when you’re capable of so much more.

On the other end of that dynamic is the inability to relate as an equal. As a consequence, one partner is viewed as subservient, or as someone who’s always of service, or always has the answers. Less dominant partners are motivated to relate and make personal compromises if necessary, but a non-aggressive demeanor might also indicate an unwillingness to defend personal rights. You may have to protect yourself from excessive demands on your time, or the intrusions and opinions of others.

Dealing with fear is critical, particularly those that prevent you from taking the necessary risks needed for growth. Perhaps it’s the fear of being loved or rejected; fear of inadequacy or the need of constant reassurance; fears concerning sexual performance or orientation; fear of losing control or being overpowered. Issues will act as the catalyst that forces you to analyze your situation, behavior and actions while at your most vulnerable. Recognize that you’re clearing the residue from the past and will feel tremendous pressure to change the direction of your life in order to make a new start. Because of this, it’s to your advantage to move toward the fear rather than retreat, and you may choose to confront these problems head on.

Your may spend more time alone to pursue your own interests and needs, and this may coincide with living alone for the first time or a separation for one reason or another from a loved one. Other reasons for withdrawing from superficial or unnecessary contacts may be to work on a creative project, to escape from a situation you find difficult to control or to a situation you wish to create.

Some of the thorny situations encountered during this cycle will be issues of communication where it’s challenging to articulate in a manner that fully reflects intellectual capabilities due to language barriers, verbal skills, or a different mindset. This might prove especially problematic when working with cultures foreign to oneself.

Other dilemmas center squarely on financial concerns, and in some cases, the emphasis is on fiduciary duties or trusts that involve siblings, young persons and corresponding paperwork or documentation. For others, the sun is highlighting your self-worth and value system as demonstrated by your relationship to resources. If so, you’ll focus on ways to manage, budget, save and invest your money. If you possess a sense of wholeness that isn’t based on self-indulgence and acquisition, you can make clear and conscious choices to eliminate the unnecessary, both materially and otherwise, and may actually rid yourself of possessions.

A contributing factor is the Jupiter|Uranus conjunction which alters your relationship to resources through sudden gains or losses so that you can continue to grow as an individual. In the positive, you experience a good financial situation or improvement in conditions that may be attributed to professional endeavors, increased earning power through your own efforts, a second job, or a lump sum payment. The conscious choice is to work at what’s fulfilling and confidence in your talents will attract money easily bringing opportunity and reward when you act on the ability to earn. Others will experience the downside of this duo with increased spending and expenses. This may be due to mounting bills or situations that require you spend money to make money.

That powerful combo in the house of resources may also link to a father figure’s influence over your values as a result of how you’re affected by this person. For some, efforts to achieve are restricted because of deception and confusion. It may be that strongly held opinions or offensive beliefs cause arguments or present potential challenges to your beliefs.

In fact, financial issues can be problematic if the expression and experience of love is money as a theme and is perceived as part of love/relating. In some instances, it means that money is substituted for sharing/giving on other levels or that the feeling of one being “loved” is for his/her money. However, this might also beg the question of what one is leading with to attract relationship and may have more to do with self value (or lack of) than anything else.

Other scenarios might include strong obligations that can’t be avoided such as becoming responsible for someone less fortunate, family members in need of care, friends in trouble, or the care of someone who needs to be saved from a difficult situation. If so, it’s likely that the circumstance is part of your need to face a fear.

This cycle demands your discernment where projects and endeavors are concerned. Efforts that are not informed by Source and deep knowledge are likely to yield little, if any, results. You’ll also need patience and faith in a power bigger than yourself because the timetable for situations will be dictated by the divine rather than the desires of man or the external world.

The key word for this cycle is reforming which suggests efforts applied with the intent of improvement—of self, others, or conditions. This can highlight those with great sympathy who both think and feel deeply and whose ideas are intended to heal the wounds of others.
