Juno is the Roman goddess presiding over marriage and childbirth and has been associated with fertility and wealth of the community. As the wife of Jupiter, she endured the humiliation of his many dalliances and often sought revenge on the third party despite the fact that the advances were often unwanted. Her role defines the marriage partner and the characteristics of the alliance, but because retaliation was so much a part of the dynamic, she also emphasizes the boundary line and concern for equality in the partnership (or the divorce). As she moves through the signs and houses, Juno highlights events related to entitlement and what becomes necessary to sustain a union. It is in the area of partnerships/legalities that sets the stage for decisions or opposition to having power and control over your life by initiating dramatic changes and eliminating what you no longer want or need.
