Venus enters Virgo

September 4-29, 2022

Venus enters the sign of Virgo where the dictates of the heart are often set aside in favor of practical considerations. A strong sense of duty now drives you to seek meaningful relationships that are more pragmatic rather than romantic. You’re attracted to partners who are precise, efficient, organized, and attentive to the details. This placement can also emphasize indecision in love when considering impossibly high standards that set the stage for disappointment when expectations fall short of requirements. There’s a tendency to be critical and obsessive about being right that ultimately proves detrimental to a loving partnership. Perhaps the need is to develop greater patience and tact.

Any unresolved emotional turmoil can turn on the physical self giving way to stomach disorders, ulcers, and or intestinal problems. At some point, a fateful event is scheduled to occur that may compel conversations surrounding the pain or trauma of childhood and the psychological damage caused or shared by siblings. This may underscore the indelible impact that words can make on the psyche or provoke discussions about mental health.

Venus in Virgo usually helps put you in good stead with colleagues and coworkers. However, this transit may bring a need to address wounds related to criticism of work-related duties or problems with coworkers or subordinates. Additionally, accidents caused by the careless handling of equipment or non-conformity where workers, unions, contracts, and corporate matters are concerned may arise and the role of the leader is questioned.

Fortunately, long overdue advancement in the career is also possible. This may be a good time to remind superiors of your value to the company with supporting facts and figures. Others may decide to find work with well-established companies or retire. In general, pending health and work matters will come to successful conclusion.

Venus Caressing Cupid, Pompeo Batoni

Despite the stoic nature of Virgo, this is still a good time for fun and entertainment You may feel especially relaxed and comfortable in your own skin making you very attractive to the opposite sex. Perhaps this marks the start of a love affair or the development of romantic involvement that hasn’t yet turned to full commitment. In some cases, you could be at odds with a partner concerning whether or not marriage is desired. If you’re already married, children or outside involvement may be disruptive to the relationship.

Your increased self-assurance also extends to the need to express yourself creatively. The emotional and nurturing nature, security themes, or public life provide the avenue for achieving happiness and success. Venus is conjoined to Regulus which may inspire you to seek perfection in what you do or produce. Your efforts may be to help by teaching or to increase the availability of information. You may be gaining confidence in your abilities while trying something new or exploring different genres, mediums, or techniques. While it may take hard work and determination to achieve a goal, you could receive honors and this period can be very productive, encouraging, and imaginative. Your fortunes may come far from home or through those at a distance.

If you’ve experienced difficulties with your children, the relationship may show an improvement. Perhaps it’s because you’re relating to them more positively or you discover appropriate corrective measures that allow you to better understand and handle problems related to your children. Your children may make greater strides in adapting to issues related to school, siblings, relocation, or social situations.

The goal of many of your relationships at this time will be for personal expansion and to broaden the outlook. To that end, the influence of this Venus supports the current planetary theme of travel, study, and encounters with all things foreign to past experience.
